The activity takes place in the heart of the Sierra Morena of Córdoba, just 10 minutes from the city, in a setting where the Mediterranean landscape unfolds.
The route is done by horse-drawn carriage, allowing us to move at a gentle pace and connect with the surroundings in a different way. Along the way, we will make several stops at points of natural and cultural interest, where we can observe wildlife, discover native flora, and take time to quietly contemplate the landscape.
During the experience, we will share the history of the area, its unique features, and curiosities that help us better understand this territory and its relationship with those who have inhabited it.
After a period of calm observation and enjoyment of the surroundings, we will begin the journey back, bringing to a close an experience designed to see, listen, and feel nature from another perspective.

During the route, we will encounter a great diversity of flora and fauna typical of the Sierra Morena.
Flora:
In this region, shrub species such as rockrose, rosemary, lavender, and strawberry tree are predominant, all adapted to dry and warm soils. Cork oaks, holm oaks, and pines are also notable, forming forests and dehesas that create an ideal environment for many animal species.
Fauna:
The pygmy marbled newt (Triturus pygmaeus), an endemic species, inhabits wet areas. We may also find other amphibians such as the fire salamander and both the Iberian and common frogs.
As for birds, we may observe species such as the hoopoe, azure-winged magpie, great tit, European robin, and little owl.

The activity is designed for small groups, with a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 6. If you are fewer than 4 people, feel free to contact us and we will find the best option for your visit.

Recientemente he estado el la Mironera en un taller de fotografía de rapaces. La sesión fue genial. Muy buena organización y gestión de la finca. Magnífico trato a los animales por parte de Daniel y magnífico asesoramiento fotográfico por parte Alfonso Roldán .El grupo que fuimos a taller disfrutamos de las rapaces y pudimos hacer fotos como la foto de Duque, que adjunto.Volveré a la Mironera sin duda

Hemos participado en el Taller de Búhos de La Mironera y la experiencia ha sido de lo más gratificante. Dani, que sabe de aves lo que no está escrito, nos presentó al búho real, el autillo y el cárabo lapón mientras nos contaba mil curiosidades sobre ellos. Alfonso, el fotógrafo, nos dio sus mejores consejos para sacar buenas fotos y aprovechar el entorno... y no dudó en arrastrarse por los suelos para ello. ¡Eso es dedicación!
El taller está muy bien montado, combina divulgación y fotografía sin prisas, y permite disfrutar de estas aves de cerca en un ambiente estupendamente cuidado. Para todos a quienes nos gusta la naturaleza y buscamos hacer fotos espectaculares, es un plan más que recomendable.
