Meet us

Our mission is to create experiences that connect people with nature, combining the enjoyment of the natural environment with respect and responsibility for it.

About La Mironera

Discover how we promote biodiversity through a carefully designed experience.

La Mironera is the result of our CEO Daniel Pueyo’s passion for nature and animals. What began as a personal hobby—a way to connect with the natural environment he so deeply admired—soon evolved into a broader vision: to share this experience with others and add value to the environment in which we live.

Driven by this vision, we created La Mironera with a clear mission: to protect the natural environment and promote biodiversity. We aim to offer experiences that not only entertain, but also educate and raise awareness about the importance of conserving our surroundings.

We offer exclusive activities that allow for an authentic connection with the region’s flora and fauna, always under strict respect for the environment. Our carefully designed experiences ensure safe interactions with controlled species, and by working with small groups, we provide personalized attention while prioritizing animal welfare and respect for their natural habitats.

Located in the heart of Sierra Morena, we also offer the opportunity to discover the area’s rich natural heritage, encouraging responsible and sustainable tourism.

Official collaborating entity on flora and fauna for the Regional Government of Andalusia

La Mironera is recognized by the Regional Government of Andalusia as a collaborating entity in the field of wild flora and fauna.

This represents an important step forward in our commitment to biodiversity conservation and the protection of the natural environment.

Our journey and collaborations

For years, La Mironera has maintained close collaboration with public authorities in various areas related to the environment.

Among our most common activities are responding to citizen reports of injured or disoriented wildlife, as well as collecting and transporting these animals to the Córdoba Center for the Recovery of Threatened Species (CREA), where they receive the veterinary care and specialized attention they need.

Following our accreditation as a collaborating entity, we are now able to work directly and in coordination with the Regional Government of Andalusia on conservation programs and initiatives, environmental education, and public awareness campaigns.

Thanks to this, we can take a more active role in the protection of native flora and fauna, reinforcing our position as a bridge between public authorities and the community.

Public–private cooperation

At La Mironera, we believe that collaboration between public and private entities is essential to ensure the effectiveness and continuity of environmental policies.

This synergy allows us to pool efforts, optimize resources, and bring nature closer to society through educational projects, outreach activities, and conservation programs.

Ongoing projects

Currently, we are working alongside the Córdoba CREA with the transfer of non-releasable specimens that, due to their conditions, cannot be reintroduced into the wild.

These animals become part of our environmental education programs, where they play a key role in raising awareness and educating the public.

In this way, the specimens are given a second chance with a new purpose, benefiting from structured routines, care, and enrichment. At the same time, they actively contribute to the conservation and understanding of the local flora and fauna.
