Just 15 minutes from the city center, the Hide at the Pond is a space designed to enjoy a full day dedicated to wildlife observation and photography in our region. Its location, in a მშვიდ and carefully selected environment, turns this small pond into a natural meeting point for numerous species that come to drink and cool off throughout the day.
The hide is designed to comfortably accommodate two people and features a large one-way glass window, allowing you to observe and photograph without being detected. Inside, you’ll find stools and a ventilation system that makes the stay more comfortable, even during long sessions. Everything is arranged to ensure a comfortable, discreet, and respectful experience, allowing animals to maintain their natural behavior.
Throughout the year, different species of birds, mammals, and amphibians regularly visit the pond. It is common to see azure-winged magpies, black-eared wheatears, Eurasian jays, great spotted woodpeckers, or green woodpeckers, as well as striking species such as the golden oriole at certain times of the year, when it comes down to drink, offering excellent close-up photography opportunities. Mongooses and rabbits may also appear, along with viperine snakes or common frogs taking advantage of the water to cool off.
With the change of seasons, the species and activity around the pond also vary. If you’d like to know which animals are most commonly present during your visit dates, feel free to contact us with no obligation. The Hide at the Pond is an invitation to slow down, observe calmly, and connect with local wildlife through closeness and respect.
The Hide at the Pond activity is organized into two formats depending on the time of year: high season and low season, adapting to periods of greater activity and to different visitor profiles.
